The syllabus is made up of (13) Thirteen major Chapters Candidates will be required to answer all the (50) fifty questions in the Computer Based Test (CBT) All within the allotted time of one hour the questions caries equal marks. Candidates are expected to broaden the coverage of their studies to include latest editions of all recommended textbooks, journals, periodicals, bulletins and other related magazines. Candidates are also advised to read the current editions of the Lagos Banker Magazine and the Nigerian Banker Magazine, particularly to Update themselves on contemporary issues in the financial services industry. Objectives The broad objective of this subject is to enable candidates acquire in-depth knowledge and practical application of the following Human Capital Management Concepts. - Fundamentals of Human Resources (HR) Management Practice. - Paradigm shift from personal management to Human Capital Management and the distinguishing features. - Contemporary Human Resources Concepts, nature of people and how to effectively engage them. - Fundamental roles and responsibilities in the achievement of corporate objectives. - Core competencies in human resource management and what makes human resource management critical - Emerging information technology systems in effective management of people-related issues in the Workplace. - Group/Union Management relationships and how to achieve peaceful and industrial harmony in Work place. - Use of contemporary tools, methods and technology to facilitate efficient and effective human Performance in the work place. - Design of staffing and organizational development programmes.
